There has been a pharmacy at the Toll for over 100 years.

The original pharmacist, Dixon Black was affectionately known as the "doctor" of the Toll. The current owner, Cathy Burns purchased the business in 2001 and was overwhelmed by the sense of community within this area and therefore decided to rename the business "The Toll Pharmacy" This independant family run business strives to provide excellent pharmaceutical care to all our customers in Prestwick, Monkton and Ayr.

Our three delivery vans ensure that we can confidently guarantee your medication is delivered to you when you need it most. We collect from all of the ten local GP surgeries in Prestwick and Ayr every day, some GP surgeries we visit twice daily!
