Making sure nobody faces dementia alone.
Dementia is the progressive loss of the powers of the brain. There are many kinds of dementia but most common is Alzheimer's disease.
In Scotland, over 90,000 people have dementia. It is most common in older people but can affect people in their 40s and 50s or even younger.
Here at the Toll Pharmacy we are dedicated in trying to provide the best service possible for our patients. For Dementia Awareness Week we have arranged for Jenni McKeand, a Dementia Advisor, to host a drop-in session on the first Tuesday of the month.
Jenni will be here in the pharmacy during the morning to help support anyone that has been affected by dementia; be it yourself, a family member, or if you are a carer. If you feel that you are needing some support or have any questions then please do come on along! No appointments required!!
